My first trip to a nerdvana went fairly well. HP had their annual conference at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Ridiculously nice hotel and everything was extremely well taken care of. Everytime you turned around there was more food, it was like we were Hobbits. They had dancers, a house band, an emcee, as well as Howie Mandel and Matchbox Twenty on the last day of the conference. I also made my way down to "Star Trek: The Experience" which I have read may close at the end of the year. All was pretty enjoyable although it was very hectic and I didn't have much tim to really "enjoy" vegas. Planning on going back on a non-business trip early next year so I can really enjoy it.
